California Business Professional Cornelius Albert

A resident of Los Angeles, California, Cornelius Albert founded Berto Legal Services, a paralegal firm that provides couriers and messengers, case filing, document management, and process serving services to small and medium-sized attorneys’ offices. Having founded the company in 2012, Cornelius Albert sold it to his partner and now works there part time. In addition to renovating residential real estate, he serves as a managing member of Captive Concepts, which offers greeting cards to families of prisoners. Earlier, he learned about the justice system as a paralegal for the Deitch Law Firm from 2009 to 2012. Before then he was the chief executive officer of Bayscene Limousines in Oakland, California, overseeing the scheduling of six cars and occasionally driving.

Mr. Albert completed coursework in business administration at the University of California, Los Angeles, and later earned an associate degree in paralegal studies from Norcross University in Decatur, Georgia. He was a member of a bridge club for several years in Beverly Hills and was a dedicated runner, and also worked out with weights and did calisthenics. His travels have taken him to Hawaii, China, Mexico, and Europe.
